POINTING of BRICK WALLS

Definition: - Pointing is the art of finishing the mortar joints in exposed brick or stone masonry with suitable cement or lime mortar.


Objective: -
  • Protection of masonry joins from weather effects
  • When workmanship in masonry works is of very good quality and the aesthetic view of exposed well maintained masonry joints is desirable, their walls with points is used (without any plaster or other finishing).
