- Plastering is the process of covering rough walls and
uneven surfaces in the construction of houses and other structures with mortar
or plaster.
Objective:

- Protection layer of masonry wall (from weather
effects or any third party etc)
- Provides good aesthetic view by providing flat and neat surface.
- It’s a base layer for other activities like painting, putty or tiling etc.

• Ceiling
Plastering- 6mm [1:3 or 1:4 –Cement : Sand]
• Inside
Plastering-12mm [1:4 to 1:6-Cement : Sand]
• External
Plaster-18mm [12mm (1:6)+6(1:4)] or 20mm [15mm (1:6)+5mm(1:4)]
• Before
plastering surface is roughened by hacking.
